Highly controlled sharpening and heat treatment process ensures consistently sharp, durable and strong blades. Stitch cutter blades have a rounded tip to ensure patient comfort and reduce the risk of percutaneous injury.
Standard (65 mm), Medium (93 mm) and Long (110.5 mm) Stitch Cutter blades are made of high carbon steel. They do not require a handle for use. No. 3 Stitch Cutter blades are made of stainless steel and are required to be fitted on a No. 3 handle for use; the longer handle enabling an improved aseptic technique.
The blade size is clearly marked on blade. Each blade is hallmarked. Packaging is bar coded with information in 9 languages.
Each blade is packed in aluminum foil with VPI paper protection. Supplied sterile in unit boxes of 100. British Standard 2982:1992. 5 years shelf life. Gamma Sterile.
